A staircase composed of very small steps can reach just as high as a staircase made of large steps, and the climb is much more manageable. Every little step counts. Doing just a little is infinitely more rewarding than doing nothing. And just a little can quickly lead to just a little more.

Five minutes a day adds up to two and a half hours a month, and thirty hours over the course of a year. If you spend those five minutes each day making minor improvements, they can steadily bring about major accomplishments.

Offer one small gesture of kindness each day and multiply it over the course of a lifetime. You'll find your world filled with rich, rewarding and genuine relationships.

Every little step counts, because the little steps are usually the ones that actually get taken. There's virtually no risk, and yet the rewards, over time, can be enormous.

What one little step would make life better for you this very day? Get in the habit of taking small positive steps, and you'll create big, lasting success.

I agree with this.  Just like here in the forum.  Every post counts.  So for us forumers we should not settle with just the normal hi and hello.   We should atleast improve our replies  by posting more sensible answers so that other members and viewers can benefit.    All of us have our own good ideas.  Its just a matter of thinking more and sharing more.  Fun is fun, no question about that.  But we should always remember also about the importance of sharing our knowledge and wisdom.  Maybe you dont need it but others appreciate that.  You may not comeback again in this site but your sensible answers will always be here and can help a thousand Filipinos.

Few people are able to take giant steps -- to become an overnight phenomenon. It happens, but it is rare. Yet everyone is able to take little steps, one after another, again and again.

It is in the little steps, repeated over and over again, that great things are accomplished.

Look at your own life and you'll see many challenges. Some may seem almost impossible to overcome. Yet, as soon as you start working on them, they begin to grow smaller. With each passing day, step by step, you begin to gain on them.

And eventually, not only has the original challenge been conquered -- something even more important has happened. You have grown. You have learned. You have achieved. You have experienced. And by your own hand you have made your dreams a reality.

However great the obstacle, however ambitious the goal, there is something you can do about it today. And tomorrow, and the next day. Stop wishing for a big step, and start taking the little ones.

Whenever you're tempted to give a little less to a task than necessary, do yourself a favor and give a little more than necessary. If you're going to miss the mark, overshoot it rather than undershooting it. Go a little beyond instead of falling a little short.

Take the extra step. Make one more phone call. Write one more page. Greet one more customer. Work a few more minutes. Run a little bit faster. Add a few more details. Do a great job and then add a little bit to it. That little extra bit at the end will add value to the entire effort. It provides enormous leverage and a great return for the small amount of time involved. The extra effort is tiny. The additional rewards are great.

Bring value to your work and to your life by giving just a little bit extra to every effort. Over time, those extra efforts will add up and pay off. Rather than focusing on how little you can get away with, direct your attention to how much you can accomplish. Take an extra step. Go the extra distance. Build on top of what you've already created and the results will be magnificent.
