You can now upload your own picture as your avatar.  Simply follow the steps below.
1) Click PROFILE on the forum
2) Click Forum Profile Information
3) Then look for "I will upload my own picture".  Click Browse and upload your own picture.

Note: Maximum width of uploaded avatar: 120 pixels
 
        Maximum height of uploaded avatar: 100 pixels
