Dear Kababayan and Friends,
The Filipino Association of Singapore and Mercy Relief Limited, in cooperation the Filipino communities/volunteers in Singapore, is conducting a nationwide fund raising campaign drive for victims of Typhoon Ketsana on Sunday, October 11, 9AM to 6PM. We will carry out a Street Collections (tin donations) outside the MRT stations and other public areas. There will be 3 shifts: 9AM to 12NN, 12NN to 3PM and 3PM to 6PM. A team of 5 members is required for each shift.
We intend to deploy 500 volunteers for the 3 shifts. WE ALREADY HAVE 200 VOLUNTEERS AND WE ARE APPEALING FOR ADDITIONAL 300 VOLUNTEERS. If interested to help, please register your names on the attached volunteer's list and submit by email aft

ronalb@starhub.net.sg no later than 7th October, 12NN. We will consolidate the volunteers list and let you know your assigned location and reporting station latest by Thursday evening. PLEASE PASS THE MESSAGE TO YOUR FRIENDS.
Please be informed that all volunteers have to sign in and sign out at the beginning and end of their respective shifts at the reporting station with their photo identification (NRIC / EP / WP etc). We will be having 3 reporting stations during the street collections, namely: Century Square Tampines, Mercy Relief Limited office at Toa Payoh and another one at Orchard location (to be advised).
All monies collected for the street collections will be handled and accounted for by our local partner, Mercy Relief Limited.
