From Shano:
yup, I second what John said, but team A definitely had a beating. hehehe
(score was 3-1. 3 from Iry, Jo-2 and Carlo, and 1 from Cesar)
Since this was a successful tune-up game for the upcoming game on Sept 13 there are some things that I have to bring up:
1. Punctuality: we must strictly be in the pitch at least 20mins before kickoff, better if 30mins. this is to allow sufficient warm-up to prevent muscle injuries, and also so we can brief each other out. Remember that the pitch is only booked until 7 so if we can start on time, we can finish earlier and have more time cooling down and cleaning up.
2. Shin Guards: if you don't have one yet, try to get it before the next game. I was hit by the new guy, Tony, so hard on the right shin (like being kicked by a Muay Thai boxer!) that if I had not worn one, I could have ended up in the injuries list!
3. 2 friendlies every month: one for practice game so we can point out concerns for improvement and another for the main event. If the friendlies can be booked on the 1st and last week of the month, we'll have Farrer in between.
So next time we play tune-ups let's focus more on player positionings specifically opening-up for support and avoiding vacant spots so we can maximize ball movement and distribution.
Last thing, I already bought 8 cones for Farrer, 4 for goals and 4 for corners.
Here's the pictures from yesterday's game:
